LA Tennis Bash

LA TENNIS BASH is First Break Academy’s year end charitable event launched in 2017 at the historic Jack Kramer Club. Our 2018 and 2019 host, Bay Club is a premier private tennis club in Manhattan Beach, California, and a major contributor to First Break Academy scholarship programs for deserving youth.

The BASH is an opportunity to pay it forward while enjoying a fantastic morning of competitive live ball on courts led by ATP, WTA, and elite tennis coaches. The event includes music, kids’ zone, lunch, and pop up shops! A special LIMITED VIP LIVE BALL experience with and against pro players is always a big hit!

LA TENNIS BASH proceeds fuel First Break Academy’s mission to “Create Champions in Life” by providing access to Fitness, Play and Education. Past events included Pam Shriver, Tracy Austin, Steve Johnson, Shelby Rogers, Taylor Fritz, Jared Donaldson, Nicole Gibbs and Bradley Klahn.

First Break Academy has a history of delivering outstanding After-School and summer programs, free play days, early excellence tennis training, education enrichment, and life skills lessons to elementary and middle school youth.

With your generous donations, you help provide safe and quality tennis, education, and life skills programs to under resourced youth in Carson. Your contributions support tuition assistance for full-time players with high school and college student-athlete aspirations. 50% of First Break Academy students receive scholarship funds. Many are first in their family to play tennis!
